THPLGT: How long you been rapping and doing you thing?

Dee Goodz: Honestly it hasnt even been a full year that I have been rapping seriously, not counting the lunchroom stuff. But I've been a fan of hiphop forever.

THPLGT: What are some of your influences as far as music?

Dee Goodz: Too many to name. I find something new everyday that I've never heard that has me like thats dope! Most recently, I've got addicted to old Duckdown tracks. I like hiphop when it was cool. Everything nowadays is just corny and gimmick rap. I'm not in any lane cause I cant stick to one topic I wanna just be an artist not a rapper ya know.

THPLGT: #ConGRADulations was ill man, put a lot of people

on to your music that were missing out, whats next?

Dee Goodz: Well I figured Imma do 2 more mixtapes one for August and a tape w/ Rocksmith in September.

THPLGT: You and Mac did somethin serious together on that

Doobie Ashtry instro, any chance of a duet tape, you 2?

Dee Goodz: Na thats the homie, but I doubt we do a duo "tape" proly just alot more songs together, thats my homie! K.I.D.S.!

THPLGT: Being from Nashville, and the main voice of your city

right now. Whats the HipHop scene like in music city?

Dee Goodz: It's growing, alotta people are still caught in that trap movement. But I came back to the city to give em a dose of the swagg ya know, lol. Now everybody wants to go backpack, which is cool just pay homage lol. I was once put on to this hiphop ish myself so I cant blame em for wanting to actually get down with the movement.

THPLGT: shoutout to CKDO thats the movement, where do

you and your team feel you fit in this Rap game?

Dee Goodz: I mean its no doubt we got next up. I feel we work alot harder than alot of folks. We do it all on our own too, so in the end we'll last alot longer.

THPLGT: Who are you listening to right now?

Dee Goodz: Honestly, at the very moment I'm vibing to that new Erykah Badu. That album is for smokers only lol. Real Playa like...

Dee Goodz: It depends on what I have to do that day. Kush can put me in writing mode, Purp makes me club performance ready. Dro when I'm chillin wit the homies.

Dee Goodz: For the record, I don't condone papers if you're truly trying to smoke. I like the actual art of smoking, its soothing to take 15 minutes out your day to relax and just smoke ya know. I can't do the 2 minute and I'm done thing.

Dee Goodz: Oh off top its the cement 3's and the fire red 5's. Kinda like a tie between the two. They are heavy artillery for all forms of shoe battle lol.

Dee Goodz: Rocksmith, Diamond, 10 Deep. I wear everything that's dope tho. I really have been on my Euro swagg lately tho. I'll put you on later lol.

who would you want to reach out to? Artist or Producers.

Dee Goodz: I just wanna meet Kanye and Pharrell. I think the day we do meet they'll rock wit my shit. Everything I talk about its passionate and REAL LIFE. I'll probably write a rap about doing this interview lol.

do you see yourself in five years?

Dee Goodz: Regarded as one of the most consistent artists in the game. That'll prolly be about when everyone starts to know my music
